For all surfing enthusiasts from Germany and Switzerland, here is the cheap and convenient way to get to the French Atlantic and back!

We collect all bookings for your travel date and then create an itinerary for it. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to travel to all departure points. We will always try to rebook you to the next possible departure point and inform you in good time.

Please note: You will receive the final departure times from us approx. 2 weeks before departure together with your travel documents.

We will send you the login for our bus online platform together with the bus voucher. Please log in here regularly (especially on the day of departure!) and check whether there are any last-minute time changes.

The bus supervisor

The bus supervisor will check the booking documents and provide helpful information during the journey. Underage participants can also use the bus transfer, as the bus supervisor can look after them during the entire journey to and from the destination.

Departure day this summer is Friday (for everyone except JSA participants) or Monday (for our JSA guests) in Germany and Switzerland. The buses usually depart from the first stop on the route between approx. 6 and 8 am and cross the border to France between approx. 7 and 11 pm. They spend the night travelling across France and arrive at their destination between approx. 8 am and 12 noon. The journey time may increase due to traffic jams.

On Saturday (or Tuesday in JSA) afternoon/evening the buses leave back to Germany or Switzerland.

Buses generally have to spend 10 hours at their destination in France so that the bus drivers can fulfil their legally prescribed rest periods. The departure times to Germany and Switzerland therefore depend on the arrival time at the destination. Departure times will be between approx. 5 and 10 pm. Please always check the exact times with the camp manager on the day of departure!

Departure locations to France*

Aachen, Augsburg, Basel, Bern, Bielefeld, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Hamburg, Hanover, Kaiserslautern, Karlsruhe, Kassel, Cologne/Bonn, Mannheim, Munich, Saarbrücken, Stuttgart, Ulm, Zurich.

*Selection of possible departure locations up to the final creation of the individual itinerary depending on the participants booking.

Alternative departure location

You can choose the departure location for both the journey there and back. If these are different or if only one route is selected, a fixed fee of €20 will be charged due to the high logistical costs.

The minimum number of passengers for each departure location is 12.The minimum number of 12 participants means that a departure location below this number may not be possible. In this case, we would contact you directly to find a suitable alternative for you. For groups of 20 people or more, entry locations outside the regular routes can also be requested. The vouchers are available to all our participants approx. 2 weeks before departure.

Destinations in France

From 17 May 2024 to 28 September 2024 there will be a weekly bus service to Moliets Plage.

Cancellation deadlines and costs, rebookings and name changes

up to 30 days before departure 20% of the tour price per person

29th to 22nd day before departure 30% of the tour price per person

21st to 15th day before departure 40% of the tour price per person

14th to 7th day before departure 65% of the tour price per person

6th to 2nd day before departure 85% of the tour price per person

from 1 day before the start of the trip or in the event of non-commencement of the trip without prior notice of cancellation: 100% of the tour price per person.

If possible, rebooking requests by the customer will be taken into account and charged at €50 or treated as a cancellation of the travel contract with a simultaneous new booking.

A diesel surcharge of €5 per route will be levied if the average diesel price exceeds €2.10 per litre. The 4th and 5th week before the start of the journey will be used for the calculation. In this case, the €5 per route (€10 in total) will be added to the price of the journey.

Luggage regulations

The transport of baggage is limited to 1 piece of luggage in suitcase dimensions (max. 80cm height + 30cm length + 50cm width) and 20 kg and to one piece of hand luggage max. 7 kg.

The carrier accepts no liability for damage in transit. In order to protect your luggage appropriately, we recommend that you obtain comprehensive insurance, which includes including luggage insurance.

Children or minors who have not yet reached the age of 18 will only be transported if they can present authorisation from their legal guardian(s) (a declaration of consent will be sent to our participants in advance with the travel documents for them to sign).

Bus vouchers, proof of age and authorisation from parents or legal guardians will be checked by our bus supervisor before the start of the trip.
