The surfing event over Pentecost in Seignosse
It’s that time of year again: the SURFERSWEEK in Seignosse is coming up! During the week of Pentecost, from 23d to 30th of May 2026, surfing enthusiasts from all over Germany will meet at one of the best surf spots on the French Atlantic coast. You can expect first-class waves, a wide range of activities and breathtaking sunsets.
Information about the SURFERSWEEK will be available soon here on the website and on our social media channels. If you want to brush up on your surfing skills, you can take part in optional surfing lessons or enjoy early-bird and sunset sessions with others.
The bungalow resort Les Estagnots will be your home away from home during the week. Nestled in a pine forest, you will have access to a large pool, a multisport field and tennis courts. With movie nights, fun sports tournaments and live acts, SURFERSWEEK is the perfect start to the 2025 surfing season.
So save the date – it will be legendary!

Camp
Seignosse offers the ideal mix of sporting activity and relaxation. In addition to the dreamlike sandy beaches and perfect surfing conditions, there are numerous other possibilities for spending the day. The Les Estagnots complex has a 300sqm swimming pool, an event location and a multi-sports field where you can work off your energy as much as you like. If you prefer a more relaxed approach, you can play a round of tennis or simply spend the day by the pool.
You will find everything you need right outside the complex: a supermarket, bakery, restaurants and a surf shop. Just a short drive away, Hossegor and Capbreton invite you to stroll and relax in their pedestrian zones, cosy beach bars and trendy surf outlets.
For those who want to explore further, there is a bike rental directly opposite the complex. In Le Penon, just 2 km away, you will find a pharmacy, a skate park and an ATM, while for medical assistance you can travel to Seignosse or to the nearby hospital in Dax. Wi-Fi is bookable on request, and coin-operated washing machines are available in the complex.
Our experienced team is there for you throughout the week. Whether at check-in or at the events – you will always feel well looked after. Many of our team members are keen surfers themselves and bring their experience from numerous surf camps.
Lodging
During SURFERSWEEK, you will stay in cosy 4-person chalets or 5- and 6-person bungalows – perfect for a relaxed surfing holiday. All accommodations offer optimal comfort and have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a fully equipped kitchenette and a spacious terrace with garden furniture.
Bedding is included, and each bungalow is equipped with a safe to store your valuables. A free parking space is also available for you in the bungalow complex.

6-person bungalow Pinède

The two-storey bungalows in the pine forest offer 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with bunk beds) and a sofa bed in the living room.

Meals
Cooking when and what you want is easy here! The fully equipped kitchen in your accommodation offers you the opportunity to prepare your favourite dishes yourself.
Self-catering
There is a bakery and a small supermarket right in front of the complex where you can find everything for your breakfast or spontaneous snacks. If you prefer to be pampered, there are restaurants and cafés nearby.
For larger purchases, there are several well-stocked supermarkets within a 10 km radius. This gives you complete flexibility to organise your day as you please.
Surfing
In our surf classes, you will learn the basics of surfing in theory and practice. In 5 x 1,5 hours you will be taught the most important techniques – from the first take-off to improving your skills. CLASSES START ON SUNDAY! In addition to the practical part, you will also learn everything you need to know about how waves are formed, currents and how wind and weather influence surfing.
Optional: 5 x 1,5 h including equipment for the duration of the course, €179 p.p.
Please note: Surfing is a sport that takes place in nature, and the surfing depends on the local weather and wave conditions. To secure your place on the course and to be assigned to the appropriate surfing level, it is important that you reserve your course when you book your trip. It is often not possible to do this spontaneously on site.
Beginner
This is the ideal place for those who have never been on a surfboard!
In this course, you will learn how to glide on broken waves to the beach, how to balance on the board and how to orient yourself in the ocean.
Basic
We recommend these lessons for those who have already completed a one-week surf course or have 3-5 years of surfing experience.
Here we will work on the basics and prepare you for your first ride of the green waves!
Intermediate
If you have already completed several courses with experience in green waves, this is the right place for you!
We will build on your existing knowledge and deepen your understanding of theory and practice to help you ride green waves and make your first turns.
Advanced
Unfortunately, we don’t have any special courses for advanced surfers who already have some solid surfing experience.
However, you can rent a board from us and take part in the intermediate course or prove your skills at our German Open Surf Contest!
Surf team & safety
Our surf team consists of skilled coaches with years of teaching experience who will enthusiastically introduce you to the sport. All surf instructors are licensed coaches, trained by national and international surf associations as well as Surf Lifesaving Great Britain.
Safety is our top priority: the supervision ratio is 1:8, and all instructors are also trained as beach lifeguards. A warm-up and the use of softboards reduce the risk of injury.
Equipment
The required equipment (surfboard and wetsuit) is included in the course price and is available for you to use during the practice sessions. Outside of the course times, the equipment can be used for a fee. Also, stop by our board test centre and try out various NSP surfboards!
Optional: For €130 p.p. per week, you can get a surfboard and wetsuit. If you only need a board, it costs €90 p.p. per week.
Activities
An impressive line-up of events awaits you at SURFERSWEEK 2026! Look forward to surfskate training, exciting fun sports events and a top-class roundnet tournament. For those who like it a little quieter, the Movie Night is just the thing! Here we show films about the ocean – perfect for relaxing in a great atmosphere. There’s also fantastic live music, a DJ set and countless opportunities to party with friends. And as a bonus, you get a €15 drink voucher for the bar on the event grounds!
In addition to all the activities in the holiday resort – such as the swimming pool, sports and tennis courts – the surrounding area and the Basque Country invite you to take great trips to the mountains or impressive city tours to Bordeaux, Bayonne, Biarritz and San Sebastian.
San Sebastián by night
The name says it all! In the early afternoon, we will take the bus to Spain. Once there, you can choose whether you want to explore the city’s sights with us or stroll through the various shops. Afterwards, you can enjoy delicious tapas and let the evening come to a relaxed close before the bus takes everyone back to Seignosse.
Optional: San Sebastián trip for €30 p.p. (€35 if booked on site).
Arrival
We recommend travelling with your own car to be independent during your surf holiday and to easily reach the surrounding shopping facilities and day trip destinations. Alternatively, you can also travel with Surfexpress from Germany or Switzerland. Arrival and departure day is always Saturday. The bungalows are available from about 10:00 am on the day of arrival, check-out is on the day of departure by 10:00 am. Please note that there are no surf lessons on these days.
Surfexpress
The Surfexpress shuttles between Germany, Switzerland and our surf camps in France every weekend. On the outward journey, you leave on Friday morning and arrive on Saturday morning. The return journey starts on Saturday evening and ends at the destination on Sunday.
Optional: The Surfexpress costs €180 p.p. plus a surcharge depending on the departure point.
Arrival on your own
For the transfer from the airport or train station, you can use our partner West Coast Transfers (discount code on request) or public transport. If you are travelling by car, please note the motorway fees in France.
