Since 1993, our goal has been to professionally meet the individual needs of our guests. Every surf trip should be a surfing success. We want to convey a lifestyle that combines vacation, relaxation, partying, surfing and unforgettable memories. Wavetours offers its adventurous guests surf trips to its own surf camps in France, Portugal and Spain. In addition, we ensure the satisfaction of globetrotters with a greater wanderlust by offering other exciting destinations from selected distribution partners around the world.

You can expect a varied daily routine in which independent work is required. Your area of work relates to the heart of our company – the booking department.

Your tasks:

  • Individual customer service (mainly by telephone or email)
  • Creation, calculation and organisation of surfing holidays
  • Booking and selling travel services in the relevant systems
  • Making changes and cancellations to services that have already been booked
  • Invoicing and checking
  • Administrative tasks (e.g. creating trips in the booking system, creating travel documents and itineraries)
  • Coordinating tasks to ensure that booked trips run smoothly
  • Supporting our bus logistics at customer level

You bring with you:

  • Completed training as a tourism agent, travel agent or tourism assistant
  • Experience with customer service calls, travel consulting and sales
  • Confident communication skills with excellent verbal expression
  • A friendly and positive attitude
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Careful, structured and independent way of working
  • Good English skills (other foreign languages, e.g. French, are an advantage)
  • Confident use of MS Office systems and an affinity for digital tools and programmes
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability, resilience and flexibility
  • Nothing can rattle you
  • You love variety and get things done

A lovely new family surf camp that opened for its first season this summer in Montalivet. Very nicely done, with everything you need. The focus here is primarily on children, for whom there is plenty on offer – from batik, crafts, table tennis and trampolining, etc. Children of all ages will find something to suit them here and quickly make friends to play with.

If you want, you can of course book a surfing course, yoga or mountain bike tours. In the evenings, there are activities for the whole family (completely informal), from games nights to karaoke or sunset walks.

The location is great, as it’s only a 5-minute bike ride or 15-minute walk to the village, where there is a fantastic market every day from 8 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and lots of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The beach is about 15 minutes away, or 30-40 minutes with a toddler, so a bicycle is useful (you can also hire one at the camp) or a handcart or similar.

Last but not least: the food is varied and delicious. The team are super friendly and the camp management are always approachable and absolutely open to suggestions.
Highly recommended for a family week!

Everything was great, a fantastic team on site, we felt welcome and it was just brilliant… The surfing lessons were great and the instructors made the lessons fun and entertaining, and everyone learned how to surf. This year was a magical and varied yoga experience in the enchanted forest with Debbie! Yoga has always been my oasis and time-out from everyday life. However, Debbie’s design of the training and her personal energy and charisma, combined with the surroundings of the location, created a unique atmosphere for tension and, even more so, for relaxation. I haven’t experienced anything like this in a long time :D
