We are looking for a cook (m/f/d) aged 21 or over for our camp in northern Spain for the 2026 summer season.
Surfing, good food, and camp life go hand in hand for us. With us, you won’t be cooking anonymously for a restaurant, but for a small community of guests and team members. After a long day of surfing, everyone comes together—and dinner is one of the best moments of the day. If you enjoy cooking with fresh ingredients, bringing people together, and being part of a lively surf camp, you’ll fit right in with us.
Your tasks:
You are responsible for the entire kitchen area – from planning the weekly menu and shopping to preparing the meals.
Together with your kitchen team, you prepare the hot evening meal for our camp and coordinate the kitchen’s setup and cleanup. Breakfast is prepared by the team, but as head of the kitchen, you naturally oversee everything.
In addition to cooking, you ensure that hygiene and quality standards are met and that the kitchen remains a well-organized and pleasant workplace for everyone.
What you bring along:
- Experience in catering or camp kitchens
- Organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and commitment
- Experienced handling of allergens, vegan and vegetarian diets
- Reliable planning
- Independent work style
- Team spirit and flexibility
- Enjoyment of cooking for large groups
- Hygiene awareness
What we expect:
- Health certificate (instruction by the health authority according to IFSG § 43)
- First aid licence 9UE (must be available by the time of deployment and must not be older than two years)
- Extended criminal record certificate
- Class B driving licence
