All of our Wavetours camps in France and Portugal are staffed by competent employees who act as on-site representatives. Dedicated, motivated and reliable applicants are offered an interesting entry into the world of tourism in various areas of our company. The jobs in our destinations are eventful and varied.

Cooking brings you joy, you enjoy using regional products in your kitchen, and you are passionate about transforming the Basque flair of the southern French Atlantic coast into culinary delights?

For our camps in southern France, we are looking for motivated team members (m/f/d aged 21 and over) for the 2026 summer season to fill various positions in our kitchens. The kitchen job profiles include:

Chef
Sous Chef
Kitchen Logistics
Kitchen Assistant
Kitchen Allrounder (“Küchenfee”)
Team Chef

Your tasks:

The specific tasks for each position will be available from December in the individual job descriptions in the Jobs section of our website.

What you bring along:

Previous experience in gastronomy
Initiative, resilience and stress resistance
High level of dedication & responsibility
Independent way of working
Team spirit and flexibility
Self-confident and friendly demeanour
Reliability in planning

What we expect:

Health certificate (instruction by the health authority according to IFSG § 43)
First aid licence (9 teaching units; must be available by the time of deployment and must not be older than two years)
Extended criminal record certificate
Class B driving licence

What we offer:

A preliminary seminar lasting several days before the start of your job

A lovely new family surf camp that opened for its first season this summer in Montalivet. Very nicely done, with everything you need. The focus here is primarily on children, for whom there is plenty on offer – from batik, crafts, table tennis and trampolining, etc. Children of all ages will find something to suit them here and quickly make friends to play with.

If you want, you can of course book a surfing course, yoga or mountain bike tours. In the evenings, there are activities for the whole family (completely informal), from games nights to karaoke or sunset walks.

The location is great, as it’s only a 5-minute bike ride or 15-minute walk to the village, where there is a fantastic market every day from 8 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and lots of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The beach is about 15 minutes away, or 30-40 minutes with a toddler, so a bicycle is useful (you can also hire one at the camp) or a handcart or similar.

Last but not least: the food is varied and delicious. The team are super friendly and the camp management are always approachable and absolutely open to suggestions.

This year was a magical and varied yoga experience in the enchanted forest with Debbie! Yoga has always been my oasis and time-out from everyday life. However, Debbie’s design of the training and her personal energy and charisma, combined with the surroundings of the location, created a unique atmosphere for tension and, even more so, for relaxation. I haven’t experienced anything like this in a long time :D
