All of our Wavetours camps in France and Portugal are staffed by competent employees who act as on-site representatives. Dedicated, motivated and reliable applicants are offered an interesting entry into the world of tourism in various areas of our company. The jobs in our destinations are eventful and varied.

Do you have at least 2 years of surfing experience? Are you fluent in English and/or German and also speak good French? Then become a member of our team!

At our camps in the south of France, we are looking for beach assistants (m/f/d) aged 18 and over for the 2025 summer season.

Your tasks:

As a beach assistant, you will support the surf instructors in many areas relating to the surf course or theory sessions. In particular, you will be responsible for looking after the young guests, assisting with the organisation of surf courses, looking after and maintaining the sports equipment and the surf station on site.

On the beach, you will not only motivate the guests to take part in the surf course, but also offer other sporting activities such as volleyball or spikeball. Of course, you will keep in touch with surf course guests at the camp, help with everyday tasks at the camp and support the team on changeover days.

Life at the camp is all about your dedication! You will be supported by the head coach, the camp management and the team on site.

What we expect:

  • First aid licence 9UE (must be available by the time of deployment and must not be older than two years)
  • Surf rescue swimmer or comparable licence
  • Health insurance
  • Extended certificate of criminal record (not older than 3 months at the start of deployment)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • High sense of responsibility and dedication
  • Initiative, motivation and resilience
  • Team spirit and flexibility
  • Self-confident and friendly demeanour

A lovely new family surf camp that opened for its first season this summer in Montalivet. Very nicely done, with everything you need. The focus here is primarily on children, for whom there is plenty on offer – from batik, crafts, table tennis and trampolining, etc. Children of all ages will find something to suit them here and quickly make friends to play with.

If you want, you can of course book a surfing course, yoga or mountain bike tours. In the evenings, there are activities for the whole family (completely informal), from games nights to karaoke or sunset walks.

The location is great, as it’s only a 5-minute bike ride or 15-minute walk to the village, where there is a fantastic market every day from 8 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and lots of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The beach is about 15 minutes away, or 30-40 minutes with a toddler, so a bicycle is useful (you can also hire one at the camp) or a handcart or similar.

Last but not least: the food is varied and delicious. The team are super friendly and the camp management are always approachable and absolutely open to suggestions.

This year was a magical and varied yoga experience in the enchanted forest with Debbie! Yoga has always been my oasis and time-out from everyday life. However, Debbie’s design of the training and her personal energy and charisma, combined with the surroundings of the location, created a unique atmosphere for tension and, even more so, for relaxation. I haven’t experienced anything like this in a long time :D
