During the Pentecost week it’s that time again and we’re swapping the lecture hall for the surfing event of the year: the adh-open 2018!
In recent years you’ve shown what the ideal mix of surfing and partying looks like. It seems to have made the rounds, so we’re already expecting a new visitor record with over 1000 bookings.
We’re looking forward to welcoming old familiar faces and new ones to Seignosse from May 19th to 26th. One of the usual suspects is Valeska Schneider, who will also be taking part in the surf contest again. As always, the contest is the absolute highlight, not least because of the brilliant fans (that’s you) who come to France from all over Germany.
As tradition would have it, there will be a legendary supporting program this time too. For example, some fellow students have already announced a spikeball tournament and a waterslide event. Depending on the wind and weather, a Firefly SUP Funbash will be held again. The week will be crowned by various concerts, surf flea markets or the Night of the Champions - in short: the organization team will try everything to make the adh unforgettable. There is a small change this year: our lovely Anne will be supported in the management this time by David. Yes, that’s right, it’s the 24plus camp leader David.
Okay, let’s be honest. The adh-open surfing is not just about surfing, the evening program is also quite nice. Well, nice is perhaps a bit of an understatement. With Bleibtreu from the rhythm gymnastics team, AROMA from Hamburg or Jules Ahoi and the deepsea Orchestra, we have one hit after the other to offer this time!! This promises a celebration that will make you forget all the stress of university.
If you’d rather take a breather, you’ll certainly have plenty of time. Seignosse is a lovely little town that offers plenty of activities and excursions. Whether it’s a shopping trip to the outlets in Hossegor or a skateboard tour that immerses you even further in the surf vibe, you’ll find like-minded people on almost every corner who want to spend a relaxing week. If you prefer a little less action, you can just enjoy life carefree on the beach.
