What do you like best about surfing?
The feeling of utter freedom. However, the best is the way in which you perceive your body while in a fight with fat and powerful waves.
COOKING CAREER AND QUALIFICATIONS
Cooking since: 1995 – it all began with the „Crêpe-Recipe“ from our French textbook
• Before 2000: Tried out many recipes from books and started experimenting
• Summer 1999: Worked in the Audi Company's canteen kitchen
• Autumn 2000: Cooked 6 months for a family in Verbier (French Switzerland)
• Spring 2001: My first time as a cook in the Wavetours team in Moliets, France
• Autumn 2001-2004: While studying I worked as a cook in a bar in Ingolstadt, Germany
• Since 2005: I Spend my summers incarnating "Tommy the Chef" at the WaveTours camp in Moliets
What do you like best about cooking?
When I am working hard because the big moment of serving the food is coming closer and closer... and then BANG… everything's finally ready... and with my eyes I can see all the satisfied faces
