Spot Description Canoa Beach: Ecuador's best beachbreak. The beach is longer than 6 miles and offers perfect a-frame peaks. Suspiro: Ecuador's best wave. This pointbreak breaks on rocks. It is situated in the most paradise-like region of Ecuador and it is hard to get there. That is why it is often called "Ecuadors best-kept secret". El Rompecoco: This beachbreak is located in the city harbour of Manta. It produces good rights and lefts and, on good days, even tubes you could place a VW van inside. Santa Loca: Ecuador's longest wave is to be found in the little fishing village Santa Loca only 7 miles from Manta. This pointbreak produces a long lefthander with a soft takeoff. Rides of 2600ft are normal, as well as tired spaghetti legs after the surf session. Pipelines: Lonely beachbreak, usually without anyone, producing excellent waves. Montanita: Ecuador's surfing Mekka has an excellent right to offer. Barrels at low tide.
